Seeking Salvation?

Sin.

Sin is the reason that we need salvation.  Without salvation, we must pay the fine for our sins ourselves.  The problem is we can’t afford the price.

But God can and has.

The Bible states that the wages of sin is death.  In other words, sin ultimately leads to eternal separation from God and His provision.  The Bible also states that all are guilty of sin, no one is innocent.  As a result, we are all destined for eternal punishment.  So how does a person get out of this mess?

John 3:16 ESV - 16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.1

Salvation is a free gift from God, made possible by the work of Jesus the Christ, God the Son.  His sacrifice on the cross has paid for our sins – past, present, and future – so that we may be reconciled to Him for eternity.  Only through Jesus can this be done...

John 14:6 ESV - [6] Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.2

If you genuinely want to recieve this free gift of salvation, then call out to God and ask Him to forgive your sins.  You do this by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal saviour, making Him the Lord over your life, dedicating it to Him, for His purposes.  Just confess this verbally and know that if you genuinely spoke from your heart, then you are indeed saved...

Romans 10:9 ESV - because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.3

Welcome to the family of God!  The Bible states that you are now a new creation.

2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.4

What this means is that while your physical body is still the same, your spirit (the real you) has been re-born, re-created.  This is what is meant by being "born-again."

John 3:3 ESV - Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."5

What's next?

Please seek out a Bible believing church that teaches the whole truth of Scripture and contact their pastor or someone on staff and give them the great news of your salvation!  They will be able to hlep guide you towards the next steps in your new life in Christ.

And if you don't mind, please let us know so we can celebrate with you!

Statement of Faith

What we believe:

  • The Godhead is triune: one God, three persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - all equal, all knowing, all powerful, eternal.
  • The Holy Bible (66 books) are the written Word of God. The Bible is divinely inspired and inerrant from beginning to end. The contents of the original autographs are trustworthy, accurate, and complete. It is authoritative not only spiritually, religiously, but also historically and scientifically.
  • Scripture is best interpreted by Scripture.
  • All sin leads to death, defined as eternal separation from God and His provision.
  • Jesus of Nazareth (the Christ) was a historical figure, both fully human and fully God. He was born of a virgin (Mary) and the Holy Spirit nearly two thousand years ago and is the most singularly important person in all history.
  • Jesus Christ (God the Son) paid for the sins of mankind by His death on the cross. He rose from the dead, ascended to Heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. Jesus is the only path to eternal salvation: a gift freely given to any who will submit themselves to Christ, by His grace alone. Rejection of Jesus Christ leads to eternal separation from God and His provision.
  • Mankind was made in the image of God; all human life is sacred and begins at conception (fertilization).
  • Marriage was defined and instituted by God from the beginning (Genesis) and as such is only between one man and one woman, exclusively for life.

Our Purpose

Our Purpose

To proclaim the truth of the Holy Bible and defend its authority without compromise.  What does that mean?  Well, simply put - we want to pass on the truth contained in the Bible as it was plainly written, without the influence of religious denominations, trendy ideas, or poor interpretations driven by social/cultural currents.

Our Desire

God states in Hosea 4:6 that His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.  It is our prayerful desire to be a blessing to all seeking the truth of God by providing information and insight about humanity's origins, history, purpose, and future from a biblical worldview, in order that you may be filled with spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9).
